Emma has been practising Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture for over 24 years. She is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and qualified at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York. Emma runs the acupuncture service at the Hewitt Centre, Liverpool Women’s Hospital, where she supports patients throughout their fertility treatment. She personally coordinates the acupuncture service at the clinic, arranging appointments and ensuring patients receive optimal support throughout their fertility journey.
Her passion for fertility acupuncture began following her own experience of miscarriage during her fertility journey. This inspired her to develop a special interest in supporting individuals and couples through the physical and emotional challenges of trying to conceive with a compassionate, holistic approach.
Emma specialises in supporting people with a wide range of fertility and gynaecological conditions, including endometriosis, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), amenorrhoea, thyroid disorders, irregular menstrual cycles, recurrent miscarriage, and those undergoing IVF and other assisted fertility treatments.
